Wealth

I think that people should pursue wealth because it can make someone have a better worth ethic. When people want money they will work hard in order to achieve the profits that they want. I believe that the more people there are that are working hard it will positively affect the entire community or even an entire country. Also, with wealth comes power. Most of the people who have power also have a great deal of money. There are some people who use power for good as well as for bad but that is why everyone should pursue wealth. If no good people want wealth and power than the only people that will have it is the bad people. Also there should be no limit on the amount of wealth that anyone can have. People should be able to buy anything they want and have the money to go anywhere they want. People also should have enough money where they do not need to worry about how they will pay for bills or send their kids to a good college. The entire plot of The Devil and Tom Walker would change if the wife did not pursue wealth. This is because then Tom Walker would not have gone back to get another deal with the devil. Also Tom would not be concerned with his after life. The story said that Tom prayed in church long and loudly because he was so concerned with his after life.
